Project Title: The neurocorrelates of the processing of cataphora in pro-drop languages
Project Description: The project examines the real-time processing of cataphoric dependencies in pro-drop languages, focusing on predictive mechanisms and on how these mechanisms operate when the pronoun is a phonologically null and grammatically abstract category, using experimental neurocognitive (EEG) methods.

Home university: Department of Psychology, University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”
Host professor: Brigadoi Sabrina
Interests: I am a PhD student in “Mind Sciences.” My research focuses on two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual-constructive, graphomotor, and non-graphomotor skills in healthy individuals and those with neurodegenerative disorders. In studying these functions, I use brain activity recording techniques (fNIRS) and neurostimulation techniques (tDCS).
Period of stay: 02/03/2026 – 29/05/2026
