I am a psychologist with a degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology and a specialization in Neurodevelopmental Psychopathologies. My research interests focuses on learning processes and mathematical abilities, with particular attention to emotional and motivational factors — such as anxiety, motivation, and self-beliefs — that influence these skills. A central theme of my work is identifying risk and protective factors that can either support or hinder academic learning from the early stages of development.
I address these topics through empirical studies conducted directly in schools, in collaboration with a network of institutions across the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna regions. I also carry out research projects developed in collaboration with international universities (University of Oslo, University of Liverpool) and as part of the “DDLab” group at the Department of Developmental and Social Psychology, University of Padova.
I strongly believe in the value of collaboration between schools and research, with the goal of supporting both students’ learning and psychological well-being, as well as teachers’ educational practice.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling the world, discovering new places and cultures, and finding inspiration that also enriches my research perspective.
