My research investigates the psychological mechanisms underlying risk perception, policy acceptance, and decision-making in environmental contexts, with a particular focus on air pollution. I study how individuals perceive, evaluate, and respond to environmental risks, and how these perceptions influence support for mitigation policies and engagement in protective or sustainable behaviors. Moreover, I am interested in using diverse methodologies, including experimental paradigms, eye-tracking, EEG, and survey
research.
I am also part, and lab manager, of the Judgment and Decision-Making Lab (JDM LAB) at the University of Padova.
